LENORA, KS, February 10, 2026 – Nex-Tech has made a $75,000 loan to support Bricks Co-Working Hub, a new business and community space in Russell, KS. Bricks will operate open workspaces, office rental, conference room rental, virtual office services, and provide a space for collaboration and creativity in the downtown business district of Russell.
SALINA, Kan. — February 6, 2026 — Nex-Tech has donated 11 professionally repurposed laptops to the Salina Area United Way in support of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. VITA provides free tax preparation for qualifying individuals and families based on IRS guidelines, helping reduce financial stress and eliminating costly tax preparation fees for residents throughout Saline County and surrounding areas.

Two familiar faces, whose careers have been deeply intertwined with the company’s growth and innovation, are stepping into pivotal roles: Justin McClung as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Allan Reiter as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). These changes in leadership took effect on December 1, 2025, following the retirement of former COO, Mike Pollock.

Great Bend, KS – December 4, 2025 – The Great Bend Public Library is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Community Grant Program. This generous grant will allow the library to replace its AWE computers (childhood digital literacy stations) with new, all-in-one desktop stations featuring tough-screen capabilities to enhance learning and usability for young children.
Hays, KS – November 6, 2025 – Nex-Tech announces the upcoming retirement of Mike Pollock, Chief Operating Officer, after 24 years of dedicated service to Nex-Tech. Mike’s official retirement date will be November 30, 2025.
Great Bend, KS – November 4, 2025 – Nex-Tech, in partnership with Barton Community College and the City of Great Bend, is excited to announce the upcoming installation of four new solar charging tables throughout Great Bend. Over the past several years, Nex-Tech has been working on a major fiber-to-the-home project in town. The idea of creating and installing these tables was developed by Nex-Tech in thanks to the community for their patience during the ongoing construction associated with the project. Nex-Tech is thankful for the support of the city, the county, and the residents of Great Bend and is excited to provide these charging tables as a gesture of appreciation.
LENORA, KS, September 30, 2025 – Nex-Tech has made a $50,000 loan to support the opening of a new restaurant to serve the rural communities of northwest Kansas. Waldo Tavern in Waldo, Kansas will serve famous American dishes, as well as specials from wherever Waldo travels to that month. The loan was made possible through the Nex-Tech Revolving Loan Fund which provides funds to eligible local businesses to create jobs and contribute to sustaining the local economy. The loan is a testament to Nex-Tech’s commitment to making life better for the customers and communities they serve. 
Hays, KS – August 27, 2025 – Nex-Tech honored the ambitions of two dedicated students during a special signing day event, marking an important step in their pursuit of careers in technology.
