How soon can I get Nex-Tech Internet?
The time it takes to get service depends on several factors, including your location in Salina, whether your home has had service before, and current weather conditions. For the most accurate update on when you can expect service, please call our Customer Experience Specialists at 785-625-7070. By providing your home address, we can check the latest construction status in Salina and give you a personalized estimate.

What’s involved in construction?
- Utility Marking: Before installation begins, our construction crews will mark or flag areas in your yard. This step ensures that all underground utilities are identified and protected.
- Fiber Line Placement: Once the route is determined, we will bury a direct fiber line to your home, typically 12–18 inches deep. This may involve digging small holes to ensure a durable, weather-resistant connection.
- Your Input Matters: There may be several possible routes for the fiber line. We encourage you to ask questions and share your preferences while our crew assesses your property.
- Connection Setup: The fiber line will be connected to a box that we attach to your home, completing the installation.

Will installation technicians help me set up the service in my home?
Yes, our installation techs will set up your home Wi-FI through your router connection and will walk you through how to set up your personal Wi-Fi Manager app.” Is this a different message than our other things that say that they will make sure everything is set up before they leave?

How often do bill increases happen?
Nex-Tech makes every attempt to keep pricing consistent and is proud to say residential Internet prices have never increased in Salina since launching home Wi-Fi. Due to the cost of the service provided, occasionally we may need to raise prices. Should this happen, all customers will be given ample notice. When cost increases do occur, customers can expect a change on their bill in February. This will not ever occur more than once a calendar year.
