WTA Foundation Announces Bryce Beisner as 2024 Scholarship Recipient

June 10, 2024

Lenora, Kan., 06-10-2024 – Nex-Tech is pleased to announce Bryce Beisner as an award recipient of the WTA Foundation Scholarship Program. Bryce received a $1,000 academic scholarship, which is awarded to applicants not only by recognizing the academic achievements of the students but also by the integrity and commitment each recipient has consistently exhibited throughout their studies.

Bryce is the son of Kyle and Jodie Beisner.  Bryce’s journey, from graduating from Beloit Jr-Sr. High School to interning at S&S as a Pharmacy Technician, furthered his interests in pursuing his education in Pharmacy at the University of Kansas.  It’s particularly inspiring to see his commitment to a career path that not only demands academic excellence but also underscores a genuine desire to help others.

The WTA Foundation awarded four trade scholarships and fifteen academic scholarships totaling $25,000 in 2024.  The focus on WTA members and their graduating high school seniors from rural America underscores the Foundation’s dedication to uplifting their member’s communities. Supporting the education of students from rural backgrounds can have far-reaching benefits, not only for the individuals themselves but also for the communities they belong to.

“Nex-Tech is pleased to be a part of national organizations like WTA – Advocates for Rural Broadband that offer advancement opportunities to our youth,” said Jimmy Todd, CEO/General Manager. “We congratulate Bryce on his accomplishments thus far and wish him great success in the future.”
