Nex-Tech Hosts Successful 20th Annual Golf Tournament to Benefit Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters
Hays, KS, October 1, 2024 — On Friday, September 27, Nex-Tech hosted its 20th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament for Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) at Smoky Hill Country Club in Hays. The event brought together more than 100 participants this year, highlighting the commitment to making a positive impact for those served by BBBS. Play began a little after 8 a.m. with clear skies, no wind, and mild temperatures, which led to a beautiful day on the course.
To ensure participants had an exceptional experience, this year’s tournament included 18 Hole Sponsors, 4 Hole Prize Sponsors, and various other sponsors such as Registration, Cart, Lunch, Water, Sign, and, for the first time, Dessert. Participants also had the opportunity to enter a raffle for a customized Scotty Cameron putter, with around 20 golfers qualifying by making it onto the green at hole #18. Additionally, many supporters contributed prizes and swag bag donations.
Participants enjoyed a day of friendly competition and camaraderie, all while supporting a vital cause.
Jimmy Todd, Nex-Tech’s CEO, shared the following: “This event is very special to be a part of as it supports our local Big Brothers Big Sisters organization that is dedicated to creating lasting change for youth through its programs.”
“Nex-Tech’s leadership and commitment to this event each year has had a direct impact in the lives of many children in our communities,” stated Jenny Bates, the Area Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters. “It is an honor to celebrate 20 years of this great partnership!
