In keeping with our mission of supporting our communities, we are excited to invite all rural veterans with disabilities within the Nex-Tech service footprint to apply to this year’s No Barriers program. The No Barriers Program is a transformative experience that helps participants to overcome challenges, create new relationships, and experience new possibilities. According to the organizers, the 2024 Warriors program is designed to help veterans with disabilities achieve belonging, identity, and purpose. The experience comprises a blend of online learning modules, meetups, and an expedition in the Colorado wilderness. Experienced staff and expedition leaders will guide participants through a series of physically and mentally challenging activities. These may include rafting, rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, and more. Throughout the experience, veterans will reflect on their past, recognize their present, and explore future possibilities.
