Nex-Tech Loans $100,000 to Support Restaurant in Stockton, KS
LENORA, KS, May 9, 2025- Nex-Tech has made a $100,000 loan to support the effort of 1872 Restaurant and Events to open an Italian restaurant and offer other entertainment services to the people of Stockton KS, and the surrounding area. The loan was made possible through the Nex-Tech Revolving Loan Fund, which provides funds to eligible local businesses to create employment and contribute to sustaining the local economy. The loan is a testament to our commitment to making life better for the customers and communities we serve.
Nex-Tech Endorses Lowering Broadband Costs for Consumers Act of 2025

This legislation, sponsored by Senators Mullin, Kelly and Crapo, provides common-sense reform of the Universal Service Fund which allows regulated service providers in high-cost rural areas to build, enhance and maintain broadband infrastructure and accessibility in rural areas, ensuring that communities across the nation have access to reliable and high-speed internet, similarly supporting Lifeline for low income families, E-Rate for schools and libraries, and a rural telehealth program.

Lenora, KS, May 7, 2025- Nex-Tech announces its support for the reintroduction of the LAST ACRE Act, a significant piece of legislation aimed at enhancing precision agriculture connectivity and expanding high-speed Internet access across rural agricultural lands. This act, officially titled the “Linking Access to Spur Technology for Agriculture Connectivity in Rural Environments Act of 2025,” seeks to amend the Rural Electrification Act of 1936 to establish a comprehensive Last Acre Program.

Myron Keller Appointed to Nex-Tech’s Board of Directors for Zone 4
