On Thursday, July 10, 2025, our community economic development team was at the office of the United Way of Central Kansas (UWCK) in Great Bend. We were there to present a Certificate of Membership to the Executive Director, Charell Owings, following the successful hosting of a Nex-Tech Academy Session at Hoisington Middle School in February 2025
What is the Nex-Tech Academy?
The Nex-Tech Academy is dedicated to providing educational resources and training to close the digital divide in Kansas. Through our Academy, we offer in-person digital skills training sessions, with recordings available on our YouTube channel. Our goal is to empower community members with the knowledge and skills they need to perform practical internet-related tasks and confidently navigate the digital world.
