Nex-Tech continues to connect more communities to fiber optic broadband. Recently, I had a great time with our customer acquisition team as we had two customer sign-up events in Clayton and Kirwin, KS. Nex-Tech will be connecting these communities with high-speed, fiber-optic Internet. 

Nex-Tech has been working to connect these communities for a while now. Our team came together to work on a grant application that was submitted to the Kansas Office for Broadband Development (KOBD). Our application was approved, and KOBD funds supplemented our efforts to reach these towns. 

It’s humbling to see what began as an idea over a call now coming to life. It was exciting to see men, women, children, young and old, come together to sign up for the best broadband connectivity. This is indeed the dawn of new possibilities in these towns.

The project showcases what can be achieved in small-town America when projects are designed in partnership with the community, public funds supplement private funds, and local stakeholders pool their resources to get it all across the finish line.
