2026 Rural Telephone Annual Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of the Members of Rural Telephone Service Co., Inc., d.b.a. Nex-Tech, will be held in person and virtually on May 28, 2026, at the Nex-Tech Community Gym, 235 S. Chapman, Lenora, Kansas, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will consist of the election of Directors, a report on the past year’s operation, guest speaker Gimmie Jo Jansonius, State Director for Rural Development in Kansas, and any other business that may properly come before the meeting.

A Nomination Committee met on March 26, 2026, and nominated the following candidates for the office of
Director to serve for three years or until successors have been elected and qualified:

To attend the meeting virtually, use the following website, a link will be live by 10:00 a.m.: www.nex-tech.com/meeting. Attending virtually means you are ‘present’ at the meeting. Voting is restricted to in-person attendance only.

We hope you can attend the Annual Meeting to enjoy an informative event with your cooperative members and employees. Those present with Nex-Tech service(s) will receive a $20 bill credit and be registered to win door prizes (TV, tablet, service gift certificates, and various other items).

2026 is Nex-Tech’s 75th Anniversary!

Please help us celebrate 75 years of Rural Telephone Service Company, Inc./Nex-Tech starting at 9:00 a.m. in the Nex-Tech Community Gym prior to the meeting. We will showcase all that Nex-Tech has to offer – services such as Creative, Cybersecurity, Physical Security, CALEA, and our Network Operations Center (NOC). We will host live fiber splicing demos, open our Disaster Trailer for tours, and have several experts on-site to answer questions. Enjoy coffee and refreshments as you learn all about Nex-Tech services – we are proud to celebrate 75 years of innovation and growth!
