The strongest AI users I know are also strong delegators. Before starting on any one of your hundreds of daily tasks, ask yourself: “Is this something only I can do?”

If the answer is no, delegate it. Treat AI like an assistant sitting next to you. Give it clear instructions, context, examples of what you like (and don’t), and let it create a starting point. You can always refine from there.

It helps with:

  • Writing and summarizing emails in Outlook
  • Generating slides in PowerPoint
  • Pulling insights from Excel sheets
  • Recapping Teams meetings
  • Creating scripts from video footage

My Top 10 AI Tips for Telecom Marketers

  1. Write better prompts: Be specific. Say who it’s for, what tone, and what format you want.
  2. Let AI ask you questions: Say “ask me questions if needed.”
    Gamechanger.
  3. Assign a role: Start your prompt with “Act as a Telecom Marketing Strategist” (or whatever fits).
  4. Use dictation: Speak casually, edit later. Especially helpful for breaking writer’s block.
  5. Build Custom GPTs: Make your own bots for repeatable tasks—social content, SEO checks, onboarding, etc.
  6. Generate better images: Be clear about subject, mood, setting, and composition.
  7. SEO still matters: AI search hasn’t replaced Google yet. Keep your website fast, helpful, and crawlable.
  8. Ask “What else?”: End prompts with a challenge. It helps you think bigger.
  9. Use AI to learn: Treat it like a teacher. Ask it to explain things or give you small daily learning exercises.
  10. Start an AI Power Hour: Host a quarterly session with your team to share wins, workflows, and new tools.
