Lenora, KS – August 8, 2025 – Nex-Tech is proud to announce that Annika Nichols & Ella Juenemann have been selected as recipients of the WTA Foundation Scholarship Program.  Annika received a $2,400 academic scholarship, and Ella received a $1,700 academic scholarship. These awards highlight not just their amazing academic achievements but also the hard work and dedication they’ve shown throughout their educational journey. 

Annika is the daughter of Marc Nichols, an Access Tech Sr at Nex-Tech, and recently graduated from Russell High School.  Her plans are to attend Wichita State University to pursue a degree in Biology and then further her education and enter a PA program at Wichita State Tech. 

Ella, the daughter of Tonya Juenemann, a Plant Accountant and Dustin Juenemann, an Access Tech Sr at Nex-Tech, recently graduated from Norton Community High School. She will be attending Kansas State University to pursue a degree in Animal Science. 

The WTA Foundation awarded one trade scholarship and fourteen academic scholarships in 2025, totaling $30,000. These scholarships support graduating high school seniors from rural communities, reflecting the Foundation’s commitment to empowering youth in rural America. By investing in their education, the Foundation helps foster long-term growth and resilience in the communities served by WTA member companies.
