5 Insights I Gained from Community Partners in Hays, KS
Written by: Friday Otuya
A community is composed of a group of stakeholders doing different work. But when viewed from the right perspective, we see an interdependent and functioning society. That is the beauty of our communities, and that is exactly where Nex-Tech fits in.
In the last few months, I have had a great time engaging with several community stakeholders in Hays, like the Heartland Community Foundation, the Hays Kiwanis Club, the Hays Public Library, the Chamber in Hays, Grow Hays, and the Ellis County Administration.
In the course of interacting with these stakeholders, I reflected on 5 essential things.
- People are (still) the most valuable resource we can ever have.
- We all need one another to make our communities better for the next generation. Yes, we do.
- We should always think of making tomorrow better than today.
- Technology is a service that the community will continue to rely on.
- Nex-Tech continues to be a friend, a partner, and an ally to the communities we serve.
