It’s a Win-Win
for Everyone.
Moving into a new home can be an exciting yet overwhelming experience, especially when it comes to making a series of important decisions. New homeowners often face buyer fatigue after going through the purchasing process, and the added pressure of choosing service providers can heighten their stress. With so many decisions already on their plate, simplifying key aspects of their move is not only helpful but necessary.
Our Challenge
When people move, they are more likely to switch Internet providers as part of the relocation process. The need to “shop around” introduces competition, and if service providers don’t proactively reach new homeowners, they risk losing customers. Additionally, the stress and decision fatigue that come with moving can lead home buyers to choose providers based on convenience, rather than loyalty or familiarity, or the provider with the best service. Without a seamless solution in place, service providers may struggle to retain or attract customers during this critical transition period.
Our Solution
To address the challenge of new homeowners having to “shop around” for service providers, Nex-Tech implemented a multi-channel campaign to reach customers in the process of moving. Partnering with local real estate agents, we supplied welcome kits for new home buyers. When the real-estate agent closes a sale, buyers receive a special Nex-Tech gift pack and promotional offer. Additionally, we have strategic ad campaigns with Zillow and Amazon targeting a specific demographic of people looking to move or buy a home. This strategy puts Nex-Tech top-of-mind when people need to set up service at their new address, and the results speak for themselves!

“Receiving this gift package at closing was such a relief. Having three months of free internet and services already set up, plus a dinner gift certificate, made the transition so much easier.
It was one less thing to worry about, and the gesture really made me feel welcomed into my new home.”
