Nex-Tech’s Youth Services Program helps students develop the skills they need to be safe, responsible, and respectful in today’s connected world. Through engaging, age-appropriate presentations for students in grades K-12, trained Nex-Tech staff visit schools to discuss internet safety, digital citizenship, online etiquette, and proper phone use.
Programs are tailored for four grade groups, ensuring content is relevant and easy to understand at every age level. The program equips young people with practical tools to make smart decisions both online and offline.

Digital Footprint: What the Internet Knows About You
An engaging digital citizenship program designed for students in grades 5-8. Through interactive discussions, real-world examples, activities, and quizzes, students learn how their online actions create a lasting digital footprint. The program explores how posts, comments, searches, apps, games, and social media interactions contribute to an online presence that can shape how others perceive them. Students are encouraged to evaluate their own digital reputation, understand what information can be discovered about them online, and recognize the long-term impact of their online choices.

An interactive digital citizenship program for students in grades 5-8 that explores the role social media plays in their daily lives. Through engaging discussions, videos, activities, and real-world scenarios, students examine both the benefits and challenges of popular platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube. The presentation encourages students to think critically about how social media influences friendships, learning, self-expression, communication, and overall well-being while helping them develop healthy habits for navigating the digital world.
