Accounts Payable Representative – Hill City, Kansas

Our Accounts Payable Representative performs general accounting duties including the processing of invoices for payment, balancing accounts and producing various financial reports. Duties also include performing accounts payable functions such as recording, printing, and mailing checks; and balancing and reconciling vendor statements with internal records. The right person must be able to process invoices, apply and post payments as appropriate, and prepare and maintain various financial and statistical worksheets.
 
Requirements:
An Associate’s Degree or the equivalent, plus two years Accounting experience, or equivalent work experience.
 

Customer Sales Assistant/ Rover – North Central Kansas

Nex-Tech is looking for an energetic career driven sales person who is ready to jump in and hit the ground running! Must be willing to work with the public in a retail setting and able to work with a variety of personalities. We offer competitive pay and benefits from a long standing company over 60 years old.
 
Our Customer Sales Assistant sells and promotes products and services, prepares customer contracts, obtains credit reports, and processes payments. Duties also include working closely with customers answering questions, processing adjustments to accounts, and resolving billing issues. The right person must maintain a proficient knowledge of products and services, and have excellent oral and written communication skills, and must also be willing to travel to work in various offices in the Nex-Tech service area.
 
Requirements:
High school diploma, or equivalent.
One year of customer service, telephone sales, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) beneficial.
Hill City or Smith Center based location preferred; location of position determined upon placement of a qualified candidate.
 

Network Operations Center Technician I – Victoria, Kansas

Our NOC is growing, and we need you to help make it happen! If you are experienced working with network operations and have a strong desire to work for a leader in the communications industry, you may be ready to join our Nex-Tech NOC team!
 
Our NOC Technicians monitor internal and external communications networks 24\7\365. Duties will include monitoring, assessing, and troubleshooting Telecommunications, Data, and IPTV equipment for network faults and equipment alarms. Additional duties will include opening trouble tickets and managing ticket queues for response, follow up, and event escalations. NOC Technicians will be required to notify management and customer/clients of priority issues, provide timely status updates appropriately and follow all NOC processes and operating procedures to drive network issues to resolution. This candidate needs to be an exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing, as well as a computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering a wide variety of applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Internet software, and E-mail support.
 
Requirements:
High school diploma, or the equivalent.
Associates degree in Communications, Telecommunications and/or Electronics Engineering degree preferred.
Six months to two years of previous experience in network surveillance and/or network monitoring, as well as previous experience with Network Monitoring tools and report generation preferred.
CCNA and/or Layer 2, and Layer 3 networking experience helpful.
Candidate may be required to work weekends and some holidays.

Network Technician – Lenora, Hays, Salina, or Concordia, Kansas

If you have a good understanding of network and server technology, troubleshooting and analysis skills, and have a strong desire to work for a leader in the communications industry, you may be ready to join the Nex-Tech Technology Services Group.
 
Our Network Technician works directly with managed services customers to set-up and maintain network systems on a regular basis by on-site visits. This position also remotely monitors customer systems to guarantee maximum up-time. Other duties include monitoring and updating customer systems for current OS and service pack versions to keep the customer base current and secure, repairs and educates customers in system operation and administration, and completes necessary paperwork associated in providing quality service to Nex-Tech customers. Must have the ability to track time and expenses associated with work orders for customer billing.
 
Requirements:
High school diploma, plus one to three years of experience in computer/peripheral and network support.
A+ certification or Network + certification or equivalent required.
A background check will be required for this position.
 

Part-Time Help Desk Representative – Hays, Kansas

Nex-Tech is seeking a technically savvy, customer oriented individuals to assist callers with telephone, Internet, and cable television service issues as a Help Desk Representative. If you enjoy technology, a challenge and working with people, this may be the job for you!
 
Job duties include supporting customers via phone and e-mail with telephone, computer, Internet, and cable television related troubleshooting and questions, and maintaining customer database.
 
Requirements:
High school diploma, or equivalent.
One year experience working with personal computers, various software programs, and the Internet or equivalent training, and/or customer service experience
