Our Systems Engineer II Designs, installs, troubleshoots and maintains complex IT infrastructure for internal and external customers, including network connectivity and utilization, Windows server administration, virtualization, performance tuning, backup, and restoration.  Educates customers in system operation and administration.  Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems.  Maintains documentation of client networks and systems and provides service support for trouble tickets.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge and understanding of networking protocols and hardware.
• Ability to learn company policies, procedures, products, and services.
• Knowledge of network testing software and remote testing procedures. Ability to achieve successful outcomes in handling difficult situations with various customers and management levels.
• Knowledge of wired and wireless networking, PC and server virtualization, software, virus protection, and backup systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects to completion.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license.

Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree in INT or the equivalent, plus seven or more years of experience, or the equivalent, installing    complex technology projects.
• Requires two Professional level certifications or two Administrative level and one Professional level certification. 
• Microsoft MCSE, SonicWALL CSSA and/or Cisco CCNA certification beneficial.  
• Must have experience in Experience in Cisco, Firepower, Routing. Virtualization desired.
