Join Nex-Tech for a trip of a lifetime! Nex-Tech is co-sponsoring the Foundation for Rural Service Youth Tour to Washington, DC. Two lucky 16- or 17-year-old students from Nex-Tech’s service area will travel to DC next June with Nex-Tech's Youth Services Specialist.

Eligibility: Applicants must be high school students, age 16 or 17 at the time of the tour, living in the Nex-Tech service area where their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) receive at least one of the following Nex-Tech residential or business services (Landline Phone, Internet, or TV) excluding any Nex-Tech Wireless service.
 
Vaccination Status: At this time, all attendees of the 2022 FRS Youth Tour will be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination due to current federal regulations. Regardless of vaccination, Nex-Tech encourages you to apply, as this restriction is subject to change.
 
 
Cost: Absolutely free! Nex-Tech will incur the $1,200 registration fee including:
  • Four nights hotel accommodations (2 students per room)
  • Three meals a day
  • Bus transportation to all activities
  • Admission to ticketed events
  • Special entertainment
  • Student dance with D.J.
  • Airport greeting and transportation
  • Youth Tour t-shirt
  • Student “yearbook”
  • Gratuities for services
In addition, Nex-Tech will coordinate travel arrangements, incur the cost for airfare, and provide $150 for incidentals.
 
 
Winning Applicants:
Nex-Tech intends to select two students for this opportunity and will contact those chosen to attend the FRS Youth Tour by March 25, 2022. Non-winning applicants will not be contacted.
