FRS College Scholarship Program 2019
Nex-Tech is pleased to announce this year’s Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) College Scholarship Program. Scholarships range from $500-$7,000 with a total of $125,000 being awarded.
Scholarship requirements are listed on the online application. Please read the application thoroughly to make sure all required items are included. Your application will not be considered if any items are missing. A link to the application is provided at the bottom of this Web page.
ELIGIBILITY: You must be a graduating high school senior living in the Nex-Tech service area, and your parents or legal guardians must receive at least one Nex-Tech residential or business service, (Landline Phone, Internet, or Cable TV) excluding any Nex-Tech Wireless service.
- Your scholarship application requires your signature. This has been an overlooked item in past applications.
- Your scholarship application also requires an NTCA Member Sponsor Certification, meaning that a Nex-Tech representative must sign your application before submitting to FRS. Your options to obtain signature are:
- Mail or use UPS/FedEx service to send your complete application packet to Nex-Tech’s Lenora office by February 25, 2019:

We will sign your application and send it to FRS by their March 1 deadline.
- Bring your complete application packet to any of our Nex-Tech office locations by February 25, 2019. Nex-Tech staff will sign and mail your application to FRS or you may mail it as well.

DEADLINE: To ensure your application is signed by a Nex-Tech representative, our deadline requirement is February 25, 2019. The FRS required postmark deadline is March 1, 2019.
